It's Been a While (Rackie & Lani; Invite)

As was the norm with the male weapon, the silenc continued to linger, more tense than was comfortable, but not so much as to initiate a fight or flight unease. Instead, it was merely there, like a foul odor no one chose to acknowledge. At the baggage claim, he seemed to slowly fall into a sort of steady ease, but as his calm fell into place, Jasmine seemed to grow ever the more tense, a hoodie appearing from her back, the hood coming up and shielding her face as she stood off to the side of them, hidden in plain sight with her arms crossed in tense frustration.

Nunally kept her distance, watching, analyzing. The tension was tiring, annoying, scary. The worst thing- Nana didn't know how to deal with it. The meister got an idea, she decided to use her soul perception to take a look at her partners' wavelengths. However, the moment she tried to use it, she felt a sharp pain in her left eye. With a quiet hiss, she closed that eye and put one of her hands on it to cover and rub it, to somehow ease the pain. The hybrid didn't understand what caused the pain but decided that it is probably nothing important. Using her right eye, she activated Soul Perception to analyze Jasmine's and Joseph's wavelengths.

What she saw should really not have been of any surprise. As per usual, their souls glowed in nearly matching blues, ice rolling around Jasmine with a sort of frost that spread out from it, though it was not cold, not yet. Joseph's, in stark contrast, had the warm glow of a blue flame, calm and contained, more like a light than a heat source. Not far off, however, a similar spark came from down the terminal, pale light flickering across it like lightning, but so slight that it was almost indistinguishable.

It was... so fascinating for Nana. The three wavelengths were so similar. the hybrid quickly guessed that the 3rd wavelength was the mysterious Lilian. The clone opened her left eye, in which the pain already stopped and slowly approached Jasmine. "Jazz, this...Lilian is close..." She whispered into her ear. "Let's remain calm...and silent..." Proposed Nunally.

She couldn't see it, but the ice spread further, a frozen haze engulfing the orb. By maybe a degree, the air around her chilled.

Not a second later, a head of short, light blue hair appeared. Joseph looked up without first seeing or hearing its possessor, as if from some easy instinct that came with the familiarity of knowing another person. The next second, two things happened: his face lit up, and a small teen came running over, all but screaming, "Joey!" In her excitement.

Nunally's comment to that situation was quiet and simple "Aha, okay.." The hybrid closed her eyes and sighed. "So...the big mystery...is just a girl.." The clone basically whispered to herself. Or maybe, the thing wasn't as simple as she thought as first? She used her computer to start gathering and analyzing facts.

Nunally looked at Jasmine, quite concerned about her mood and feelings. She.. wanted to make sure everything is okay with her but, she was afraid to say anything.

Joseph lifted the girl off her feet, holding her close for but a moment longer before setting her back down. The teen smiled up at him but her demeanor changed quickly, more positively and refined, as she relaxed where she stood. Her hands folded behind her back and she nodded to the baggage claim, waiting for her luggage to appear. Meanwhile, the chill in the air had increased, spreading and dipping further down the temperature scale. Her focus remained anywhere but on the girl present, though the anger had not ceased, and she had come to the proper conclusion long before Nana, without the words ever once needing to be said.

Nunally gulped saliva rather loudly after finally noticing the aura around Jasmine. The clone took a few steps backwards and started watching the situation from a distance. She was too scared to do or say anything, to not cause any unpleasant situations. If something bad was about to happen, she would imidiately step in and try to intervene.

Jasmine made no move in threat, but neither did she make any obvious attempt to calm herself. Instead, she nearly remained where she was, silent and seething. Her eyes remained diverted from the situation, though that did not stop it from escalating.

Joseph soon enough had the girl's bag in hand, a rather unassuming, though heavy and secure, suitcase that clearly was not the first of the luggage to come. Still, little Lily was smiling pleasantly, only just now beginning to notice that the other two girls were, in fact, there with Joseph. In silence, a puzzled look stealing her face, she nodded first to Joe, and then to both Nana and Jazz, raising a brow in silent question, as though asking for introductions. Jasmine seemed more than uninterested, and Joseph picked up on that before he even fully looked over, quiet and unsure. Swallowing hard, he nodded for Lily to follow him over. With a hand, he gestured for Nana to come closer, electing to introduce her first.

"Lillian, this," he did a partial bow to his meister, "Is Nunally. She goes by Nana, and she's our meister." At the word our, Lily looked at him questioningly, but her paused before answering. "Nana, this is Lily." He seemed somewhere between furious and worried as he beckoned Jasmine over. She followed his command unwillingly. "This is Jasmine. She goes by Jazz..." The girl pulled her hood down, the frost around her soul easing but somehow harder as she looked at the new girl. "...she's our sister."

Nana was unsure what to in their current situation. It was a strange feeling of uneasiness and stress. On one hand, she was greatly worried about Jasmine, on the other she had to greet Lily properly.
Joseph's words confirmed their theories that Lily is, in fact, a sister to Josh...and Jazz. Nana's computer automatically updated the data on her solid-state drive.

The clone looked at the trio and bowed awkwardly. She felt so... strange. Something in her head, in her mind was telling her that it'd be better to leave the siblings alone. However, on the other hand, if she stayed, she'd be able to help the siblings if something during their unusual reunion goes bad.

Jasmine's nod was curt, but she managed to keep the edge from her voice even as the frost became visible beyond the means of a Soul Perception. She swallowed down her emotions before nodding once more, pulling a seemingly genuine smile from nowhere. "Fourth year DWMA revolver Death Weapon," she said, the introduction seeming somewhere between rehearsed and instinctual, "Jazz Smith."

Lily's eyes maintained the confusion, still not fully able to grasp the relation they had to this girl; she was painted almost entirely from head to toe in tattoos, even on her face. She was thin, not disgustingly so, maintaining an athletic build, but nothing like their brother. The strangest of all though... why was she here? Why didn't they know her? Why was she American when they'd been born and raised in England? "Jazz...?" She said, the single word, though her hands seemed to grip Joseph as if from fear. He stiffened at the realization of this, and the air around him heated by a single degree.

Nana stood frozen, unable to react or say anything. At that point, her processor had completely overheated and she was forced to rely on her still yet weak mind. her fingers were trembling slightly, which she tried to hide by putting her hands into the pockets of her trousers.
Once her computer'd restarted, she found probably the safest solution to their problem.
The meister seemingly with confidence stepped between the siblings and placed her trembling hands on her hips. "Listen you all...I think this is not the right p-place for this..You should solve this later..In a more private place.." The clone really hoped she wasn't making it worse.

The stutter was what caught Jazz, the realization that she was making the girl uncomfortable finally clicking into her mind. Saying nothing, she bit back her words and took a step back from her siblings, towards Nana, the frost slowly receding.

With that, Joseph seemed to loosen up slightly as well, reaching a hand out to the younger girl and squeezing it gently. It seemed almost a signal, and Lilian's attention directed itself to him, eyes soft and alight, a strange combination of admiration and near worship shining there. "We should go," he clarified, reiterating the words their meister had spoken. "We have apartments to look into... Jazz," he said, looking to her, his eyes somewhere between begging and commanding her not to act up, "I can drop you off, if you'd prefer."

Silence followed, her eyes showing how she weighed the options about in her mind. Finally, she spoke once more, "I'll leave that to Nana."

Once the clone's computer rebooted itself, it made a silent hum which only Nana was able to hear. The hybrid downloaded the city map from the internet and added the data she had gathered about Death City, it could definitely help her come up with a suggestion on what to do next.
The meister suddenly felt a sharp pain in her eye, again. She rubbed that eye nervously. Poor Nunally had troubles with understanding what was going on with her body. Yet, the siblings were waiting for her to say something, weren't they? "We can split up for now... and meet up later at Deathbucks café. I'll go with Jazz, you Joseph take Lilian and her luggage, she's probably tired... S-so...In other words... For now, Joseph, you should take Lilian, explain everything and them meet me and Jazz at the Café.. Of course, if you have better ideas, I'll listen to them" Spoke the clone, trying to be calm and trying to hide the strange pain in her eye.

Joseph looked at her thoughtfully, not missing the fact that she had begun rubbing her eye for seemingly no reason; it was a human trait, yes, but not something she had seemed to require before the command was overridden. Still, he nodded, hand going behind the young girl's back as he went to direct her back towards the car. "We will see you there, then. Do you need a ride or...?"

Jasmine was already mid-sentence on a message to Tony, her childhood friend who was more than a little accustomed to driving her around. She didn't say anything, didn't look up.

Nunally looked at Joseph. She preferred to avoid any troublesome situations that having Lilian and Jazz in one car would cause. "I may be wrong, but... well... uh.." The meister blushed suddenly, she clearly had troubles with explaining her train of thoughts. "I think.. that, we should really separate your sisters for a while.. you have to explain everything to Lilian... and.. Ugh! Just something tells me that I should take Jazz somewhere so she can calm down and collect her thoughts." Whispered Nunally, trying to chose words carefully. The clone had to use everything she had to adapt to a new situation, which in her mind seemed way more serious than it probably was.

Joseph offered her a tender smile in understanding, though something in his skull still screamed that he was the one supposed to be in charge --- such was his way. Nonetheless, he redirected the younger girl's path, leading her the long way around back towards the care. Doing so left the shorter route open for the other two girls, a thought only slightly recognized by the elder twin. Shaking her head, Jasmine impulsively reached for Nana's hand, guiding her back the way they'd come.

Nunally slowly walked alongside Jasmine. Her heart was filled with that strange uneasiness. The clone wanted to leave the airport as soon as it was possible. Did she feel regret? Maybe a bit. Nana had a feeling that her idea wasn't the best one. Yet, she had to live with what was about to come. The meister couldn't help but sigh quietly once they walked a few meters. Soon they'd leave the airport and be alone. Just to make sure she hadn't hurt Joseph's feelings she sent him a text message: "I'm sorry if I made things worse"
Once the message was away, she felt way calmer.

Trust me, Nunally, this was my own doing. Joseph typed out the words instantly, fingers dancing over the touchscreen without leaving its surface, the phone more than a little attuned to his messaging habits. Soon enough, the two were at the car and he sent her another message. We're going to stop by my apartment first, to drop off her things. I'll see you at the cafe. What do you want?
Jasmine, meanwhile, was still working on cooling her temper, a rather odd, contradictory notion given the nature of the abilities that she possessed. Nonetheless, it was her lot to live, and she was stuck with it. Silent for a while, she merely focused on guiding Nana the short way out of the airport and back to the main portion of the city. On foot, no matter the detours the other two took, they would most definitely be the later two to arrive at the shop.

"We'll see once we get there. I'll try to use the shortest route.
ps. Typing with my head feels...strange. I mean.... EVERYTHING THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT COMPUTER IN MY HEAD FEELS STRANGE!

Nunally used the GPS in her phone to calculate the shortest route to the famous "Deathbucks Café".
The clone purposely decided to go there on foot to let Jasmine collect her thoughts. Also, she wanted to talk with her about the whole situation. Once they reached the main portion of the city, Nana started searching for useful words she could use to start a conversation. "So... Jasmine... Do you feel better now?" She asked. Honestly, the meister was absolutely afraid that touching the subject might cause more troubles, yet she also had to do something to distract herself from the strange ache of her eye.

Jasmine was far from the point freezing anyone solid anymore, but she still wasn't entirely... present, anymore. A shrug followed the meister's words and she looked down as she walked, kicking her feet idly and find entertainment when she caught a rock between her feet. 'It's just kind of... well, bullshit." She admitted the words with bitterness, an awkward, forced expression on her face, "When Joe and I were born, from what I can tell, well... they abandoned me. We don't talk about it much, so it's not like I know the details...."

The meister nodded silently. She managed to understand how terrible the whole thing is for Jasmine.
"Understood, I won't push further..." Said the clone as the two passed yet another calm street. "So... uh, there's that second clone, right? Is he... My brother?" Nana suddenly asked, finally remembering that Ordis existed. "I mean, he exists to kill me if I start causing a ruckus, but what if we reprogram him som....Ouch!" At that point, Nunally was saying everything that came into her mind. However, suddenly she was stopped by another wave of pain. The clone rubbed her eye again and realized that something was not right. She could see some strange blue dots. Pixels?
Nana quickly scanned her systems in search of problems and bugs. To her surprise, she found a new device signed as "(1)Cyber-Lens ver. 1.45".
"Jasmine, can I ask you to check whether there's something unusual in my eye?" Asked the clone after noticing that the ache was gone.
There was a strange, glowing, blue circle around the iris in her right eye, also some dots that were appearing and disappearing in random places.

Jazz didn't hesitate to stop and stoop down a bit, looking into both of the girl's eyes. There was a confused look on her face as she explained the differences, rather taken aback by the situation. "Do you have any idea what it is?" For the moment, the previous conversation, and its accompanying questions, were put on hold.

"I'll run a quick scan. Give me a few seconds." Said the clone with uneasiness in her voice.

Right after the scan finished Nana decided to play with the settings for a bit. She started configuring the device. Then the same strange dots appeared on her other eye.

After some digging through the settings and even the drivers's code for those strange new devices, Nana managed to restart them and run a setup.
Her eyes sparkled with blue light as very small lines of text appeared on her eyes. It took her next few seconds to finish a setup. Some small windows appeared in the corner of her eyes. From Nana's perspective, it was something close to staring at a screen of a computer.
"Alright, I got it! Apparently my creator somehow surgically augmented my eyes with two cybernetic lenses. They... Are...Hm... They provide an augmented reality system. So, it's basically a screen for my computer. I can see a clock in the corner of my eye, I can download the map of our local area and just look at it with my one eyes... I guess I could also use it for combat somehow..." Said Nunally who still tried to figure out when and why were those lenses put into her eyes.

The clone leaned against the closest wall- she needed a little more time to get used to the new toy.
"Alright...Hm... I know why my creator might have installed those in the first place. As we already know he wanted me to become independent... He knew that it meant that I'll be the one controlling my micro-computer. Earlier the A.I was controlling this body, which was an easier process. Now it's reversed, I control the electronics in my body, which requires a lot of focus from me.
Uh...Well..My brain and the computer are connected with each other via a "neural link".. which basically translates the digital signals into thoughts and commands for the brain. The translation would very often cause headaches and overheating, which is never pleasant. Now I have these lenses, which don't use the neural connection, lowering the usage on the neural link... So... Well...This is actually awesome! I'll make my life easier... But... Uh... It... looks creepy, am I right?" Said Nana who was full of different feelings- from confusion to excitement and happiness. She could easily find pros and cons of her new tools. The biggest con being the bright blue glow from her eyes.

Jasmine actually seemed amused by the devices, leaning down and studying the lights in the woman's eyes, "The fact that you can see anything through them is amazing in and of itself, to me." She grinned, watching them change, "Do you need me to carry you while you get used to them?"
