Hanging out

Ayoko and Ace just arrived at the academy from the training grounds.
"Thanks for the help." Ayoko says, sitting down in a chair.

"No problem." Ace sits next to her. "Hopefully we can talk to Lord Death sometime soon."

"Yea, I really want to improve my skills as soon as possible." She says smiling

"You have good potential, just a lack of experience."

"Thanks, so what kind of music are you into?" she asks changing the subject

"I don't listen to music anymore..."

"oh, sorry to bring it up then.." Ayoko apologize switching her gaze onto the ground

"Its fine." [Dammit, I'm gonna fall for that stupid kindness of hers and tell her what happened if I'm not careful.]

She smiles "well if you ever want to hear some music, I always have my ipod with me"

"No... but thank you." His stomach growls. " Eh... hey are you hungry?"

"Yea, I'm starving." she says, hugging her stomach

"Good, now I don't have to ditch you to go get food." He stands up

Ayoko found a random cane on the ground and pick it up.
Aren't I lucky! she thought standing up with the help of her newly found cane.

"Well, what are the chances."

She smiles and asks "so where are we going to eat?"

"Well I could go for a soul right now but we'll have to settle for regular food. We could go to my place, all the food in the vault is non-perishable." He offers.

"Sure." She says with smile "I'm up for anything."

Ace walks home with Ayoko following behind him. They reach a massive mansion, surrounded by a mason wall with a gate at the front. Inside the walls, the yard is peppered with Sakura trees, and bamboo. "Well, here we are."

"my god...." she whispered staring at everything with awe "this place is amazing!"

"Eh... you get used to it. The lock to the gate is broken though, so I usually just climb up the wall. I'll get to the top, and then let my chain down. I'll pull you up like that." Ace throws his chain up at the wall and morphs the weight back in to his hand, and grabs the wall. He hoists himself up the wall, and lets the chain back down.

Thankfully, she was able to do it on the first try with her sprained ankle. Once on the wall, she carefully jumps down on the ground.

Ace, now at the base of the wall, catches her and sets her down quickly so that their souls don't fight again.

"Thanks" she says, smiling brightly at him

He smiles faintly. [-_-" dammit....] "Lets head in." He begins walking and a bunch of turrets pop out of the ground. Ace continues, unfazed.

Unlike Ace, Ayoko stares at them with wide eyes "Um...is this normal?"
