"A noob and a pro. A new COOP campaign begins" [Closed. Lani and Rackie]

Jennix laughed, "If that's your thought then I think I'll have to say goodnight, here." She said, checking the time on her phone, "You could be out all night and I've got classes in the morning..." She seemed both sheepish and regretful at having to leave her newfound friend, but she really couldn't afford to blow off sleep, and then likely class, on only her second day.

Aurora patted Jennix on her shoulder. "Sure. I can walk you home though if you want." She suggested sending her a friendly smirk and a wink. There was quite some time before the night would start, so there was enough time to escort the weapon home.

"Your call." Jennix said, though she visibly perked up at the offer. It wasn't much time, but it was time, and it meant that she wouldn't be alone for just a little while longer.

"With pleasure, partner!" Aurora said nodding. One their business in the restaurant was finished, the meister led the weapon outside. "Well, in theory, I should get some sleep too, but... Nah... I think I'll just be late to school tomorrow." Aurora commented, convinced that her little quest was more important than school.

The weapon, a known troublemaker herself, snorted, shaking her head. "Are you going to be a bad influence on me~?" She teased.

"I would never~! I might be a bit carefree but I want you to be a model student!" Aurora replied, pretending to be serious. Of course, she was just kidding! Jennix was a big girl and she probably could take care of herself and make decisions.

Probably. Maybe. Definitely not. Still, Jennix played along with the little game, submitting to the fate of having to be the 'good one' or their pairing. Having to behave sucked! Oh, well. Grinning, she set about using Aurora as her guide back home, which was rather useful given that she really wasn't quite sure where they were at, now.

Luckily for Jennix Aurora remembered where the weapon's home was located. It obviously would take a while to get there, but it meant more time with Jennix. "This day was fun..." Aurora commented as she put her hands behind her head. It was a really enjoyable day indeed.

"It was!" The woman agreed, absently looking around her since she had someone to guide her the proper way. Her eyes skimmed the area, her body skipping and spinning in circles as she looked around. Death City wasn't the biggest city she'd ever been to, but since it was more local-based and the selling feature was the Academy and not some factory or trade port the pollution was almost non-existent. It was so nice to be able to just breathe.

Aurora didn't really know what to say or what to do, so she just kept leading the way. Actually, why was she the one who was leading the way? It was Jennix's apartment! The witch started desperately looking for topics she could talk about with the weapons... The simplest one came to mind- "Hey,
would you like to practice a bit with me tomorrow? We could try doing the resonance and perhaps discover some new techniques..." She suggested.

Jennix started bouncing circles around her, giddy and eager, "Yes, yes, yes!" Somehow, amidst everything else, she forgot that having a meister meant that she could use her weapon form. Silly Jennix.

That put definitely hyped Aurora for the next day. A wide grin appeared on her face as she patted the weapon on the shoulder to stop her from... bouncing... circles... Well, Aurora was still getting used to how energetic Jennix behaves.

Really, her attempts at calming the weapon weren't exactly... well, effective. Still, she eventually stopped bouncing, focusing once more on getting home. Sleeeee~eeeeep~

Aurora decided to just give up and let Jennix do her thing. Well, until she got bored of it, presumably. Finally, they arrived at their destination which was obviously Jennix's home! "Annd we're here, partner!" The witch commented, smiling.

Jennix nodded, moving over with her arms outstretched, unsure whether or not hugs were appropriate but hugs? Yes? Everyone likes hugs? Maybe? At any rate, the worst that would happen is that Aurora would tell her no.

Aurora stared at Jennix for a moment, not exactly sure what to do. She then sighed and mumbled. "Fine..." The girl approached Jennix and hugged her tightly. That's when she realized that... hugs are actually quite pleasant. The hug lasted for another moment, then Aurora released her weapon from the hug.

Smiling widely, she waved her goodbyes before skipping off to re-enter her apartment. It had been a really great day, and having her meister care so much about her already. Everything was already looking up.

Aurora waved goodbye before she started going her way. The night was young and the witch wasn't tired at all. She really wanted to find the tagger and have a little chat with her. Aurora closed her eyes for a second, to think mostly. She had no idea where to start looking for her target, which was a bit problematic.

At this point, Jennix was already seeming like an entirely different person. As the door closed behind her, her attention became more directed towards the task at hand. After several passes of searching and changing her clothes, she eventually was packed up, her devices attached to her hip or bag, belt wrapped around her securely. she made her way out of her fire escape and up to the top of her building. Cece then began jumping through from roof to roof, searching out a new target for her next best canvas.

"Should I do my search the old fashion way? That would require me to return home and change my clothes though... Nah... I don't have time for that." Aurora thought out loud as she started looking around. Perhaps she could just climb up onto the rooftops? That'd be risky though. Too bad the witches can't use Soul Perception, that'd surely make Aurora's life easier.

At one of the locations the meister-weapon pair had investigated earlier that day, Cece was setting up her contraption so that she could paint to her heart's content without falling off the side of the building. That done, she began her work with large, variously shaped circular-type objects, giving them thick outlines in such a way that made them appear to glow. It seemed that she was painting souls, this night.

Aurora pulled her phone out to take a look at a map. She started marking interesting locations on it. "I guess I'll just start checking them all out... I have no clue where to find her after all." Aurora told herself as she simply chose the closest location and went there. She wasn't there, thus the witch went to the next location and... she wasn't there either. So, she went to another location, which was also the same location she'd visited with Jennix... Annnnd... There she was. The tagger! The witch slowly approached the artist with her arms folded on her chest. "Good evening!" Aurora greeted the tagger.

Cece, being as high up as she was at the time, took the distance as an opportunity to simply act as though she could not hear the woman. Instead, she continued her work, feigning ignorance of the witch's presence as she filled in the various souls. It wasn't until she'd begun work on the background that she even looked in the meister's general direction. At that point, she cast a nod the girl's way, though she didn't say a word, simply continuing her work in silence like she had the night before.

Aurora got irritated by being ignored by the tagger. She wanted to throw a harmless energy orb at her just to get her attention. "Hey! I've been looking for you!" The witch yelled with her hands on her hips. She kind of expected such reaction from the artist, after all, she was interrupting her.

When she got to a point that could be counted as a stopping one, she left her current layers of paint to dry, hanging from her contraption to look at the girl. There was something expectant about her gaze, even though her face was relatively invisible between her hood and bandana. Still, she did not speak.
