He went straight onto the next hand. 

A jack and a 2 for Aurora. 
A 6 and a 2 for himself.

"Another." She said, massaging her lower lip with her teeth.

Glyndwr slid her another card, and got one for himself.

A 6 for her and a 5 for himself.

Whatever. She said, not bothering with the logistics. "Another?"

Once more, Glyn drew another card for her and then himself.

A 4 for her and an 8 for himself. 

Glyn had 21. He flipped over his cards with another grin. 

"I'm not even cheating, I swear." He said.

She looked at the cards and then at him, pouting, folding her arms across her chest. "This game is rigged."

"I'm sure you'll get some good cards eventually."

Glyndwr went along and drew the next hand, giving himself the first cards rather than Aurora this time around. 

A 3 and a Jack for himself.
An 8 and 2 for Aurora.

Looking at his cards, he drew another. 6. He had a total of 19. He waited for Aurora.

She tapped on the table for another one, eyeing the two cards in her hand. An Ace would be super nice right about now.

Glyndwr slid another card over to her. Queen.

He flipped his cards over after he did so.

"Victory!" She cried, though she knew it meant next to nothing. One out of four wasn't terribly helpful.

"Well done. Once more, and I take off a sock." Glyndwr said, sticking his tongue out at her.

He drew the next hand. 

18 for himself.
19 for Aurora.

He tutted when he saw his cards. Probably the worst numbers. He just had to hope, as he slid his cards forward.

She slid her own forward as well. Aurora still didn't want to gamble for a two.

Seeing both the sets, Glyndwr did as he said, taking off his sock. Then the other, because it was a tad unfair.

He dealt the next hand afterwards. 12 for himself. 10 for Aurora.

He drew another for himself. 6. Another 18. He tutted under his breath as he put his cards down.

She tapped on the table for another card. Maybe? Win? Yes?

He slid another across the table. A king. She got a 22.

She flipped the cards over at them, pouting at the loss.

"I'm sorry." Glyndwr said, slowly feeling sorry for her constant losses.

He drew another hand. Another 18 for himself. 14 for Aurora.

"Again," she whispered.

Another card across the table. A 5, leaving her on a 19.

Glyndwr flipped over his 18.

She flipped hers gleefully this time, smiling. "I win? Yes?"

Glyndwr answered her by unbuttoning his shirt and throwing it at the sofa, next to the pillow he threw back earlier, revealing the t-shirt underneath. "This is taking a while. Lets just drop the 3 per and just go one by one."

Saying that, he dealt the next hand.

16 for himself.
16 for Aurora.

He got another card for himself. A 9. He had no chance, unless Aurora also got over 21, for a push.

"Another," she requested, shifting slightly --- he had extra layers on! No fair!

He dealt her another card. A 3, for a total of 19.

Give up. She told herself, sliding her cards over before turning them over.

Glyndwr went straight to taking off his t-shirt, as soon as he saw that her cards weren't over 21. "I switched the order that I was dealing in and now I'm the one getting bad cards. Huh."

He went straight into another hand after that.

12 for himself.
13 for her.

He got another for himself. A 9. 21. Figures, the moment he says that his cards were bad.
