Aurora put her hands on the hips and shrugged. "I dunno!" She eventually answered the question. "At first we really wanted to and I have a feeling Angela'd burn our flat down if not for my anti-spell. We've learned to live together in peace in such a small apartment eventually." Aurora added. "So, how do you like this apartment?" She then asked.

"I see, I see," Nodding with the bare modicum of understanding she had as to the plight of Aurora's past. "I mean, nothing to compare it to, yet. The rooms are plenty big I guess."

"Shall we go see other apartments then?" Minerva asked the two as she tilted her head to her side trying to make the doll look curious.

"Lets," Ana said with a nod, waiting for Minerva to lead the way.

"Follow me then." Minerva said as she swiftly made her way out of the apartment. After a moment they would be back on the streets headed towards another apartment. "The next apartment on our list is supposed to be fully furnished." Minerva informed them.
"Even if it's advertised as fully furnished, there may still be a few things missing. So... we might need to go shopping anyway." Aurora said.

"Some things might be garbage, too," Ana said, nodding. She was kind of sort of hoping for it, too.

"That's true." Aurora said, nodding. "You really want to use every opportunity to throw money at Luna, don't you." She said with a chuckle.
"I've just sent you a current catalog for furniture offered by the local Ikea store." Minerva suddenly said. Both of them would receive a complied pdf file containing a full interactive catalog of the store's stock.

"I have a stupid allowance and nothing else to blow it on, since Nine Tails has kindly decided to provide free coffee," Ana said, shrugging again. She wasn't going to be looking at any catalogues, yet. There'd be time later on for that.

Aurora shrugged at the mention of arguably the best rule her mother had set up in Nine-Tails. "Well, rules are rules. It's not my fault that we care about our family." She said with a smirk. After a while of walking, they finally arrived at their next destination. Minerva led them up the stairs to the third floor and knocked on the door of an apartment they would be checking out. A friendly-looking old lady opened the door and greeted the three. Minerva quickly explained the purpose of their visit to which the old lady smiled and let them into the apartment. Apparently they were free to explore it on their own.

The apartment itself was about the same size as the previous one. As Minerva'd mentioned it was fully furnished, but the furniture seemed quite old in every room. The first bedroom consisted of a bed with a wooden frame, a blue wardrobe with a big mirror installed into one of the doors, an empty bookshelf, a simple small desk, and an old office chair. The second bedroom was similar, but with differently colored furniture, it lacked a bookshelf though. The living room was definitely smaller than the one in the previous apartment. The furniture consisted of a massive and heavy table, a sofa, an armchair and a rather big cupboard with a TV placed on one of the shelves.

Ana looked around as with the prior apartment. There was the consideration of size, quality of furniture and the fact that there were more stairs (of which Ana had about enough just going to and from school). She approached Minerva. "So, is this, with the furniture, like, a better deal, or? Some of this stuff is probably going to need replacing."

Minerva stared at Ana for a moment. She was most likely taking her time to form a proper answer to Ana's question. "I can't judge the quality of the furniture, I'm afraid. However, if we assume that you'll be replacing most of the furniture from one bedroom and some from other rooms I predict that it might still be cheaper than having to furnish an apartment from scratch. We should take into consideration the fact that the rent for this apartment is slightly higher. Without precise numbers, I can't make proper calculations though so... I hope I still helped at least a little bit." Minerva said and made a shrugging gesture.

"Hm... Well, Minerva doesn't even need the furniture provided with this apartment and I assume she'll just throw everything from her room out to make room for all the server racks she needs." Aurora said. "The kitchen and the bathroom here seem well equipped and I have a feeling that both have been renovated quite recently. I don't think you'll need new furniture for the living room. This leaves us with one room which needs furniture replaced. To be honest, I'd replace everything from that one-bedroom to make it more... uhm... ahm... hm Luna-ish? I guess?" Aurora suggested.

"I see," Ana said, thinking on both opinions for a little while. "If the other was at least partially furnished it'd be a no-brainer, though," she then said, though really, it might still be for her. "And, yeah, I'd like for Luna to get a room that she really likes."

"So... should we go see another apartment? Unless you've already made a decision." Aurora asked.
"I assume that the remaining apartments from our list are in a similar state to this one." Minerva said.

"Lets look at another. If it's the same, and you reckon all of them are, then yeah, I think I know which one I'd be voting for," Ana said.

"They are very similar. The next one on our list is furnished, has bigger bedrooms, but instead, it has a small living room." Minerva explained as she started making her way over to the exit.
"It's all going surprisingly smoothly. Managing to find the right apartment on the first day of searching is almost a miracle." Aurora commented.

"Minerva is to thank for that, because she did all of the stuff that I figure makes things take a lot of time in no time at all." Ana shrugged, following behind the aforementioned machine.

"Imagine being able to control way over twenty brains at once. That's what's like being an A.I who has access to an entire warehouse worth of servers." Minerva explained briefly, somewhat dissatisfied with the inaccuracy of her statement. Though it was probably the best explanation she could offer them without getting into pointless explanations that only specialists in the field would be interested in hearing. With that, she led the other two out of that apartment and towards their next one. "I figured... If you pick the fully furnished apartment, Luna won't be able to tell if you replaced some or even all the furniture in there. She'll most likely assume that the apartment has always been in that state." Minerva suddenly told Ana, much to Aurora's surprise and dismay. The witch didn't expect that machine to suddenly become the devil's accomplice.

"I like your thinking," Ana said, pointing a finger at and giving a nod to Minerva. Yes, that was definitely something that she hadn't thought about.

Aurora sighed in defeat. It seemed like nothing would stop Ana from spoiling Luna without Luna knowing.
A few whiles later the golem brought the two to a yet another, quite similar looking apartment. Well, except for the fact that it almost looked like the order of rooms was simply reversed. That's when Minerva realized something. "It seems I've filtered out available offers so much I only picked similar-looking apartments. Oops." She said.

"Well, what matters is whether or not Ana and Luna like your picks" Aurora said shrugging. "By the way, if you plan on buying things for Luna, we should probably take some measurements to make sure everything fits. We certainly don't want something that's too big for her room, right?" She said, somewhat hoping it would discourage Ana from trying to get Luna too much.

"I've already calculated and measured all of that." Minerva said innocently.

"You and I are going to be good friends," Ana said, patting Minerva's shoulder as she went on past her to go and check out the insides of the next space. Since things were quite similar, she didn't need long, and so went to tell Aurora and Minerva both of her findings. "I like the bigger bedrooms."

Minerva tilted her head as she looked at Ana curiously. "Friends, huh?" She finally said, after a moment of silence, necessary to process the concept.
"Who doesn't? The bigger the bedroom the bigger bed you can fit in there. The bigger the bed, the more you love it." Aurora said, smiling. "Okay, so, we've got an apartment picked. What now? Ikea? Luna?" She asked.

"As much as I want to go on a mad shopping spree, it wouldn't do not to tell Luna," Ana sighed, scratching at the back of her head. "Shame, a real shame, but she should sign off on this whole idea at this point, so to speak." As much as Ana didn't want to admit it, really, Aurora wasn't wrong.

"Yup and she will probably want to see the apartment, making the secret shopping trip more difficult to pull off." The fox witch said, shrugging.
Aurora's moment of triumph got crushed down by Minerva yet again. "We let Luna know first and then go shopping, understood." She said with a nod.

"Oh, but we're never really talked decor, so it'd probably be best for Luna to pick things on her own..." Ana said, apparently coming over to Aurora's side of things slowly. "Oh, but she'll probably just pick 'cheap' because she doesn't want to trouble anyone."

"Yeah, that's the thing. She's just too modest to ask for anything better." Aurora said, shrugging. "Unless you take her out of Soul Protect..." She added, frowning.
"You could always trick her into picking more expensive furniture by saying it's for me." Minerva suggested.
