"But furniture for her room couldn't be for you, and if she thought it was for your room, she wouldn't pick for herself," Ana said, sighing. "She'd be safe with you around, Aurora. I could spin things and convince her to drop her protect... Well, whatever. We need to call her up either way."

"We'll figure something out." Aurora said, smirking, before pulling a phone out of her pockets. "Who wants to make a call though?" She asked, ready to dial Luna's number.

"Since you've got your phone out already," Ana said, gesturing to the aforementioned device. "Put her on speaker, though."

"Of course." Aurora said, dialing Luna's number. She immediately put the call on speaker mode.
"U-Uhm... H-Hello?" Luna's whispering voice sounded through the speaker. Talking to people on the phone was way more stressful than talking to people face-to-face for her. The only exception from that was obviously Ana.
"Yo! Listen Luna, Ana and I have prepared a little surprise for ya. Would you mind telling our dear friend what the surprise is, Ana?" Aurora said, smiling widely as she did.

"Hey! So, Minerva... Uh, do you know Minerva? Doesn't matter, Minerva is looking for a place, and is looking for a roommate, so we've been going around looking at apartments. We've got you in mind, and I think we've found something you will like," Ana explained as best as she could think to.

"R-Really?!" Luna spoke louder, clearly excited to hear the news. "T-That's great! I... I could finally move out of the dorms and... and everything! C-Could I see what you've found? If that's not... a problem?" It was clear that she could barely contain herself and constantly going back and forth from being excited to being shy and thankful.

"That's why we're calling you," Ana said, then giving Aurora a quick smile before continuing. "Oh, and, by the way, this place is mostly furnished, but since it's your first time living anywhere that you get to pick your own decor, we're taking you shopping for stuff and I will not let you get out of it, so there!"

Perhaps just telling Luna firmly what was going to happen would stop her from arguing? She hadn't tried this approach before...

"B-B-B-But... Since it's mostly furnished. I can... just always go and buy anything that's missing a-at a later date!" Luna said, knowing full well that shopping with Ana would almost always result in her trying to buy something for her.

"No buts, Luna. You're coming with us whether you like it or not." Aurora joined in, clearly standing on Ana's side for once
"Besides, I'd love to finally get to know you better!" Minerva also chimed in. She made her voice sound quite excited too, for additional effect. "Come on! If we're going to live together, let's at least make the place feel perfect! It's gonna be worth it, I guarantee it!" She added.

A short moment of silence followed from Luna's side. It wasn't clear whether she got a panic attack from hearing all three of them trying to convince her to go out shopping with them or if she lost the signal on her phone. Luckily, neither were the case. "A-Alright... Where w-would you like to meet up?" Luna finally asked.

"This place is fine, it's not too far away. You need to see it anyway. What's the address?" Ana asked Minerva.

Minerva looked at Aurora's screen for a moment and blinked. "Luna, I've sent you the address via text. Before you ask, I have your number from Aurora's screen." She said. There were many faster ways of sending Luna that text, but she picked the most believable option.

"O-Okay! I'm on my way!" Luna said. A moment later they could hear a quiet thud followed by a groan. "Ouch, my face..." Luna whined. Aurora only shook her head in disbelief.

"Don't rush," Ana said, though with no surprise to go along with the admonishment. She took the liberty of tapping the End Call button, then. "I'll wait outside so she can find us nice and easy."

"Sure!" Was Aurora's response.
About half an hour later Luna finally arrived at the given address. It was clear from her sweaty forehead that she didn't listen to Ana's advice and rushed all the way there. The moment she saw her partner, she glomped at her, giving her a big loving hug. "I love you so much!" Luna said, still really thankful for the surprise.

"Hey, now, I didn't set this up," Ana said while doing her best to keep her balance after being struck by the Luna hug-missile. Once she stopped swaying, she was more than happy to bury her face in Luna's hair, however; indulging for a moment was always fine. Once the moment, passed, though, she disentangled herself from Luna and lead her on inside. "This way!"

"O-Okay!" Luna said, following Ana so close, she almost accidentally stepped on her ankle. She kept looking around somewhat nervously, full of anticipation. For the very first time, she had an opportunity to live in a place she could call a proper home. She would be free from sharing space with tens of other people where the concept of privacy was almost non-existent. Well, perhaps having a roommate was slightly going against her strive for full privacy, but one person was better than a dorm full of people. Besides, she would finally have a whole bedroom just for herself.

Aurora and Minerva were waiting for the duo at the doorstep to the apartment they'd picked.

"I've brought her," Ana let them know about the obvious. She stepped past Minerva and Aurora to open up the door and let Luna take a look for herself, beckoning her inside.

"Hello!" Minerva greeted Luna with a smile on her face.
"So yeah, Minerva here could be your roommate. Knowing her, she won't be causing you any problems at all." Aurora quickly explained.
"Mhm, you'll basically the apartment all for yourself." Minerva said.
Luna seemed somewhat relieved to hear that, despite not being sure what exactly that meant. After a rather long tour around the apartment, caused by Luna having to spend at least 10 minutes in each room, she finally turned to the rest of the group with a wide smile on her face. "I really like it!" She said, grinning from ear to ear.
"Great, now pick your room if you would. The other bedroom will be emptied so I can set up my servers in there. That's all I'm going to need. After all, I'm a machine. I don't need to cook, shower, brush my teeth or anything like that." Minerva said. Obviously, Luna picked the room which seemed smaller.
"Okay, I've already informed the landlord that we're interested in this apartment and that we're 99% percent sure this is our final pick." Minerva announced
"Y-you're fast..." Luna commented
"What now, then?" Aurora asked.

"We go and we take a look at furniture, if nobody has anything better to do," Ana said, ignoring Luna's pick of the room which seemed smaller for the time being. "And if Aurora is with us, I propose that this be practice for not using Soul Protect!"

Luna froze for a moment when she heard Ana's idea. It was true that despite training for many months, she still had issues controlling herself and her magic, but going shopping without soul protect seemed like taking it a bit far. Still, Aurora was with them so it probably wouldn't be so bad. Probably. "O-O-Okay..." Luna whispered. Soon both Aurora and Luna dropped their Protect spells and because Aurora did it right after Luna, Luna was already affected by her magic more.

"You'll be fine," Ana said, taking hold of Luna's hand soon as both of them were done with dropping their Soul Protects. "Lead the way, robo-girl," she said to Minerva, assuming that the AI had planned out everything.

Minerva stared at Ana and blinking from time to time, causing Aurora to raise an eyebrow. "Where are we headed?" The A.I eventually asked. "The closest Ikea?" The fox witch said as if that was obvious. "Okay, follow me." Minerva said, before turning around and leaving the apartment. Soon they were once again out on the streets with the golem leading the way.

It would be the one thing Ana assumed that the AI hadn't instantly prepared. Ana sighed before she started following along.

Luna took Ana's hand and smiled at her widely. "I-I can't wait to be one to invite you for a... a sleepover." She told her, almost whispering into her ear.

Ana turned her head to Luna with a grin on her face. "You'll need a nice, big, comfy bed," Ana said, then giving Luna a quick peck.

Aurora discreetly looked over her shoulder at the two with a smirk that just screamed: "told ya".
Luna's cheeks suddenly got red as she looked at Ana slightly embarrassed by an unexpected peck. "Mmm. Mhm! I... I've always wanted to have a big bed." She told her.

Ana did her best to ignore whatever it was that Aurora was trying to imply. "Well, you will, soon enough."
