Noticing she'd finally done some damage, Angela decided to try something else up. The more distraction and chaos she could do the bigger the chances that Chauncey would finally end the fight. "Fire..." Angela muttered as she allowed herself to start falling. Suddenly she transformed back into her human form, once again covering herself in a cloud of smoke. "...Wings!" The witch exclaimed. Suddenly her fiery wings shot out of her back and launched her once again higher above the battlefield.

"Fireballs!" Angela chanted pointing her hand at the pike guy. All five of her fireballs shot out her hand towards him in a straight line. That surely wouldn't work, right? She was basically tying the same old trick, right? Suddenly a smirk appeared on her face. "Fire... manipulation." The witch muttered. Suddenly all five of the projectiles shot to the sides completely changing the direction of flight. Gesturing her arms a bit, she caused the balls to start coming at the pike guy from different angles - one from above, one from the left, one from the right...

The last remaining two? One was orbiting around the guy far out of the range of his weapon, just waiting for the chance to strike. The last one, however, was coming at him from behind.

Their opponent and his weapon looked at all of the fireballs coming at him from each direction and he visibly clenched his teeth. Glaring at the young witch, now, all attention on her, he slammed the end of his weapon into the dirt. "Soul Resonance!" he shouted, gruff voice louder than any one person in the tent and all the people outside it. In moments, his weapon was clad in a brilliant red light; the shape of a massive fan sprouted from the end, each angular feather evoking equally the image of some part of a grotesque creature. He spun in a circle, impacting each of the fireballs headed for him and blowing the flames away instantly; the pressure from this attack hit those further away from him as well, enough to snuff them out just the same. Angry, and focused on Angela, he shot the one hook he had left up to the centre of the tent. He tugged himself up, blowing the fan below himself to launch his whole self towards the witch, only then seeing the mistake he had made. 

Chauncey, while the man was distracted, had jumped back into the rows of seating. He did so when his opponent was distracted. He made Aruna shrink her scythe blade back down so he could hide entirely behind the barrier that separated the audience and the arena. He kept his stance low, something akin to a speed skater but even lower than that, torso pressed almost entirely against his thigh as he picked up speed within the little nook he found himself. Any one mistake, easily made considering the wound on his side, would leave him tumbling into the seating and there was very little room. But he picked up speed anyway, using the entire circle of the ring. When he heard the words, 'Soul Resonance,' he spoke them as well, though he didn't shout for the world to hear. Slowly, he built up the rate of resonance between himself and Aruna, her doing just the same; he did so until the telltale blade of a Witch Hunt, though covered in black swirling patterns, appeared. 

As he made his way one last time around the circle, he sliced both the barrier and seating to either side, as well as a few of the unfortunates who were huddling close to it at the time. In all, 6 further corrupted souls floated where he passed. Then, it was at around the time that their opponent noticed what was happening below that Chauncey had Aruna use the ample amounts of shadow behind the seating to extend and stretch them into a twisting ramp which sent Chauncey into the air and right towards the corrupt meister. He tried to dodge Chauncey, to use the fan to change his trajectory, but in the end, Chauncey had picked up enough speed for that to be impossible. The apex of his jump coincided perfectly with his target at the right time and he swung Aruna's form finally slicing their opponent clean in half. "Witch Hunt!"

Seeing her attack get countered so easily made Angela furious. Just like the man before she clenched her teeth as she glared at him. Soul Resonance was incredibly dangerous for her. She had no weapon, no way to block an attack, unlike Chauncey. All those years at the DWMA she was preparing herself to mix her magic with wielding a demon weapon, making her fire spells not as honed as they would be if she'd picked the path of a standalone witch. Cursing under her breath she watched the corrupted pike guy launch himself up towards her, his weapon blocking off ways to evade the attack. It seemed like the only two ways to escape was to destroy the part the hook was attached to or to burn a hole in the tent and fly out.

"Fire-..." Angela started chanting her spell when she spotted Chauncey launch himself up at the pike guy and swinging Aruna at him, slicing him in half using the Witch Hunt technique. Actually a part of her cringed hearing the name. She was the witch, not the pike guy! Seeing that guy fall to Chauncey and Aruna's Soul Resonance attack relieved Angela greatly - the biggest danger had finally fallen. Believing Chauncey would land safely Angela lowered herself until her feet touched the ground. With her eyes, she started searching for other hostiles who still wanted a taste of her fire and Aruna's weapon form. Just in case, she prepared a new set of fireballs, just for that occasion. "Fireballs." She chanted.

Aruna made Chauncey another ramp on the other side of the arena, angling it perfectly to slide down and into the dirt. With nothing but weapons hiding away in their weapon forms left to deal with, Chauncey saw the end of their ordeal in sight. The Witch Hunt he used slowly turned back into Aruna's standard weapon form as Chauncey dug his skates into the dirt, almost sideways to get rid of as much momentum as he possibly could. He didn't bother righting himself, his chest heaving while he tried to catch his breath, as he came to a stop at Angela's feet, laying down in the dirt. It was at about this point that he finally spotted her wound. "You're... bleeding," he said between deep breaths, pointing out the obvious. He was, as well, and Aruna looked at the wound with a little concerned frown once she transformed back. Snickers also flitted his way over to her, landing on her shoulder and making his way back into her breast pocket. The little bat really knew how to avoid danger it seemed. It seems that a few of the meisters that had managed to get rid of the weapons in the audience made their way back into the arena, having heard a lull in the fighting. They'd be done with treating all the leftover weapons to a menace or two soon enough. Chauncey wondered if he should learn it, too. Seemed damn useful, right about now.

That was one of two thoughts on his mind. He voiced the other, though whether that would be good for his health is another matter. "And... You're wearing... spats..."

With her hands on her hips, Angela watched Chauncey land. What a spectacular landing it was! Especially concerning the potential view, he had from the position of lying on the ground by her feet. Not that she minded, all things considered. When he pointed out something she was bleeding it finally occurred to her what was that feeling of wetness she'd been experiencing. She got cut. That's when she spotted that she wasn't the only one bleeding. "Mmm, you're bleeding too, man." Angela pointed out. However, it looked like the cut on Angela's leg was quite deep and the only reason why Angela was still standing was because of adrenaline... which was slowly running out now that the fight seemed over. Angela's fireballs lost their power and soon disappeared.
Hearing his other comment, made Angela look down at his face and raise and eyebrow. Her hands were still on her hips. "Yeah? Disappointed?" She asked, feeling a slight blush appear on her cheeks. At that moment she started feeling an uncomfortable pain in her leg, which made her wince.

Aru had wandered off by the time the conversation was taking place, having decided to go retrieve the bag she brought Chauncey's skates in. It wasn't the only thing it contained, considering the reason she came along in the first place. 

"I know," he said, finally able to speak without breathing between each word, though finding it more difficult in another way due to the ache in his side getting increasingly sharper moment by moment. The cut was a little ways below his ribs, so not moving it was impossible. He shook his head, grinning though somewhat weakly due to the pain. "Nah," he said, in answer to her question. It meant nobody else could see either. 

Aruna was soon back with a small first aid kit, and thought to bring a small mirror, too. She placed the kit on the ground and opened it up, placing the mirror next to them. "We're not in Death City..." she said.

Angela sent a short glance over at Aruna, but seeing she only went to get the bag, her eyes once again refocused on Chauncey. She shifted her position to put more weight on her non-injured leg so the pain wouldn't get too annoying too quickly. Glancing over at the battlefield once more, she smiled slightly and allowed herself a sigh of relief. "Yeah, uhm..." Angela said and scratched the back of her head feeling somewhat embarrassed. "Sorry for getting us into this mess in the first place. Hey, at least we did good and got some souls Aru, right?"

When Aruna returned to them with bag the witch smiled seeing a first aid kit. "Alright, deal with Chauncey's wound first, I gotta-..." Angela said and was about to take her backpack off but then gave Aruna a confused look. It took her a moment to connect the dots. The first spell Jamblee used was a teleportation spell after all. "Motherfucker..." She growled and then whimpered and lifted her wounded leg off the ground a bit. "Ouch, ouch, ouch..." They needed to confirm their location. Something was telling Angela that it would be a long day. Reaching into her backpack, she finally pulled her phone out and immediately opened a map application to see where they'd been teleported to.

"Not your issue, don't worry 'bout it," Chauncey said, lifting his hand to wave it from side to side but regretting doing so as the movement jostled his body somewhat. 

Aruna nodded at Angela. Chauncey's wound would take longer to deal with, anyway, and he could do what he was doing while she patched him up. She made him sit up, at which he winced and groaned, but once he was up he quickly got rid of his cut up and blood-soaked shirt. Aruna quickly got to seeing to his wound while he picked up the mirror and breathed on it. He quickly wrote out the number familiar to most if not all DWMA students and proceeded to give his report on the situation. It was quite like him, to call the reaper while shirtless and to not check to see if anyone else had given a run-down. Anyway. He had to make sure that Jamblee was put on Death's List if nothing else. }

Aruna was done packing up Chauncey's side by the time his talk was done. It was neat, and there didn't seem to be any glaring issues with it. Apparently, the two of them knew their stuff. Once she was done, she handed off the first aid kit to go on and collect all the souls that floated about the arena.

Angela got somewhat distracted seeing Chauncey shirtless. With a phone in her hand checking out their coordinates, her eyes couldn't help but glance over at the meister with a blush growing on her cheeks each time she observed him. Even while reporting to Lord Death himself, Angela wasn't completely capable of respectfully standing still, as her eyes just refused to cooperate. Angela made sure to fill out all the blanks in the report she could find, notably the information regarding the suspected nature of Jamblee's magic. It was a tiring process all things considered. Talking to Death while being a witch was stressful since in the back of her head she couldn't stop thinking about the still rather recent conflict between the DWMA and the Witchkind.

Once the call was over though, Angela used her phone to call her troublemaking and meddling friend. "Hey Raccoon... Uh... I need a teleport. Yes, ASAP. It's a long story. I've sent you the coordinates. Oh and, bring Aurora with you, we could use some healing here." Angela said over the phone before hanging up. The pain in her leg was getting really annoying, causing her to clench her teeth. "So, yeah... I've called for transportation and a medic." Angela quickly explained. Since Raccoon had to probably make two jumps, he would probably get to them in a few moments.

If he were to be honest, even Chauncey found talking with the reaper somewhat stressful as well. When he first met him, the Death Room gave Aruna the willies, big time, and she almost got sick from it all. Neither were quite sure what caused it, but it didn't make them any more comfortable with him. So, Chauncey was focused on not messing anything up while talking, but as soon as the goofy skull mask was gone he turned his attention back to Angela. 

"Gotcha, gotcha..." he said, nodding to the information she was giving him. Getting the would healed sure seemed like a good idea. What a convenient sister Angela had; although, he wasn't so sure they got off on the right foot. Still, that could wait until the cavalry arrived. For now, he had something else to address. "Hey, you, uh... Like what you see?" he asked, calm as ever, since this was a premeditated attack query.

Oh no, she'd been caught staring. Angela totally wasn't prepared for that kind of question as evidenced by her face immediately taking on a bright shade of red. Funnily enough, it almost matched her hair and eyes. "No! I mean, yes! I... Ouch! Fuck!" Angela mumbled, accidentally putting more pressure onto her wounded leg in all her embarrassment. That, obviously, caused her to jump in place to avoid standing on that leg. Slowly losing her balance she flapped her wings to get herself off the ground and hover above it instead of standing. Covering her face with hands she wished she could just disappear instead of enduring the shame.

Peeking from beneath her fingers at him, Angela finally got herself to reply with honesty. It took her a long and awkward moment though. "Y-Yes..." The witch mumbled quietly.

Angela's reaction made Chauncey laugh, leading to him laughing which clutching the dressing at his side in pain. The laughing probably worked to explain away his flushed complexion. It all did remind him that she still had a wound on her leg. Calming down some, he gestured at the ground beside him as well as the kit that Aruna had left behind when she went off to feast on their kills. "C'mon. If your sister comes here and finds you still bleeding while I'm all patched up, I think the gash on my side is the last thing I'll have to deal with."

After calming down enough, Angela crossed her arms on her chest. "Naaah!" The witch denied with full confidence. "Getting bandaged after calling my sister for help sounds like a waste of perfectly good supplies from the first aid kit..." She said that but she was actually looking kind of pale and the blood was dripping down at the ground. In truth, she didn't look good, despite her best efforts. Even her wings seemed to be flickering proving how unstable they were. With a sigh, she'd finally given up and landed on the ground in a way that she was immediately sitting next to him. Her wings immediately disappeared. "Actually... please do... The cut seems quite deep..."

Just a moment later a rather big magical portal appeared in the middle of the tent. I wonder who opened it there? Hm hm? You've guessed right! It was me, Raccoon! Stepping out of the portal with a smirk on my face I immediately looked towards Chauncey and Angela. "So... date gone wrong, huh?" I asked jokingly, causing my witch friend to blush. "Anyway! The cavalry is here! I'm guessing there's probably a lot of people that need transport to Death City, hm?"

Following Raccoon Aurora stepped through the portal and almost immediately spotted Chauncey and Angela sitting on the ground with bloodstains all around them. The fox witch quickly approached them and then knelt in front of the pair. "What in Death's name happened here?" She asked.

Soon as he was finally given permission, Chauncey moved to start treating the wound, although he barely got everything he needed out of the kit before the portal opened up nearby. So, that meant that... What was her name... Aurora? Aurora was here. Well, at least he'd be found actually preparing to treat the wound rather than nod doing anything at all. 

The first person that stepped out was unfamiliar to him, but it seems that he was their ride. Chauncey had to nod. Then, he saw Aurora, and he looked just a little bit more worried. Especially with how she was speedy on the approach. "Uhm... Getting kidnapped by a weirdo trickster magic user with friends, wiping out a platoon of corrupted people, fighting a meister that held his own 2v3, witch included... Just normal date kinda shit, y'dig?" he listed off each of the things that happened in short order, then pointed to the would on Angela's leg. "Couldja patch your sister up, though? She's looking pale."

Aurora listened to Chauncey's short report with a straight face. It didn't seem like she was getting angry or anything. She just frowned and looked at Angela then back at Chauncey. A corrupted meister who managed to survive an encounter with both an armed meister and a witch? That sounded dangerous. A part of her regretted she wasn't there to assist them. "Let me guess, that stubborn idiot was more willing to bleed out on you than to admit she could use some bandaging?" Aurora asked the meister, pointing her finger at Angela. In response, the fire witch pouted and looked away. With a sigh, Aurora placed a hand on Angela's wounded leg. "Fo, xo, liska, fox... Healing." Aurora chanted her mantra and then the spell itself. Suddenly a set of magic green circles appeared around Aurora's hand. Bright green light covered the wound in its entirety, slowly healing it. "I'll be done in a moment, then I'll deal with your wound" Aurora told the meister. "So, how did my sister do in combat?" She asked using a friendly voice

Chauncey looked to Angela and the bandage he still held in his hand. He sighed, putting it away. He decided not to comment, since there wasn't any need for it. Still, there went any chance that he'd ever let Angela put off treatment again should anything like this happen in the future. He also gave a quick nod to Aurora. He was patched up, so she could take as long as she wanted with him. He was just worried about Angela passing out or something. The last question, though provoked some thought. Really, he could think of a couple choice words that more or less summed things up. She did good. Check. She looked good doing it. Check. The tent almost burned down. Check.

"Pretty hot," he said.

Suddenly both sisters stared at Chauncey, hearing his quick summary. Angela with a blush on her cheeks and a slight signs of disbelief and Aurora with a raised eyebrow. For a moment it seemed like the older sister was contemplating what to do with that statement, a mixture of amusement, seriousness and hesitation were present in her eyes as she did. "Clever." Chauncey would eventually hear from Aurora. A few moments later Angela's leg healed up, leaving no trace of it ever being cut. "Alright, your turn." The fox witch said, as she moved on to kneel beside the meister. As before she placed a hand over his wound and started chanting her magic. "Healing." As before magic circles appeared around her hand and a bright green light engulfed the area where Chauncey had gotten hit during the fight. "That's a lot of souls you've killed here." Aurora pointed out

"What?" Chauncey asked the two of them, though the grin on his face said that he knew exactly 'what.' Still, he meant it, and said nothing more. He watched with curiosity as Aurora healed Angela's wound. Yeah, he couldn't think of something more convenient than that; except maybe for the portal guy, depending on what flavour of convenient you like. He moved his arm out of the way when Aurora moved on to him. Man, was he glad that that was gone. It would have made things very uncomfortable for a while. He got his shirt off of the ground and put it on, despite it being torn and bloody. Better than nothing. "Yeah. We couldn't take care of the weapons that didn't transform back, but Aru is gathering all the souls the meisters that could didn't take for themselves. And, of course, the ones we got. Unless you want them?" he asked Angela, while buttoned his shirt up.

With a blush on her head, Angela looked down at her legs. "I don't have a weapon... I've... never really been able to find anyone to stick with me..." She admitted, feeling embarrassed by that truth. Scratching the back of her head she let out a sigh. "Yeah, give Aru all those souls." The witch finally said as a smile returned upon her face.
Aurora smiled at them both. "You did good you all." The fox witch praised the two.
Meanwhile, Raccoon was busy gathering people and getting them through a portal.

"Understood," Chauncey said, nodding in sympathy while while patting Angela on the shoulder. It wasn't something he knew very much about, not having a weapon, but it'd suck for sure. The half-arsed comforting being done, he got Aru's attention and in a few more gestures between them she had things figured out. He didn't seem so convinced of doing good. They got hurt, after all, and even despite the sheer strength of that meister he felt like he should have done better. If it wasn't both of them fighting him, the one that was would certainly be dead. "Thanks," he said, with a sigh.

Aurora smiled at him in a very friendly way. "Come on, from the looks of it you three have faced off against a small army here. Last time I did something similar I lost an arm." The fox witch said, feeling a little bit grim having to remember the worst period of her short life. Hey, if that could help him feel better, it was more than worth it.

Angela also gave Chauncey a warm grin. "If anything, I was the one who messed up more than a few times during the fight!" She added to her sister's statement, seemingly unbothered by that fact. If she had to lose, she was more than glad to lose to Chauncey.

"It's not that many," Chauncey said, looking away and scratching his head. If he had the choice of doing it without nearly dying and calling it good when they did almost conk it, the choice was obvious. "And it's not like you messed up. Guy was just more wary of your magic than he was of me. In a fight, you pick off the weaklings first, y'know? Ah, whatever. Shit doesn't matter, lets just move on."

Angela stood up on her feet with a giant grin on her face. "Yup! Let's move on!" The witch said, feeling quite satisfied now that the fight was over. It was a good fight indeed. They did quite well all things considered. The pike guy was annoying as hell though.
"I'll go check up on the civilians and the others. Maybe someone else will need some medical help." Aurora said with a smile on her face as she also stood up and slowly walked off, leaving the three of them alone.

Chauncey moved his shoulder around and stretched his side once Aurora left. Good as new. Not that he expected not to be; he just wondered if it was a whole full heal type of thing or if it was a sort of 'close you up but you're going to be stupid sore anyway.' Apparently it was the first. "Hey, Angela, scooch over here a minute?"

Angela didn't expect anything less of her sister's magic. After all, healing was Aurora's absolute specialty that she'd been honing to perfection for years. Not only that, she even developed her own painkilling spells for the purpose of making sure her 'patients' we're as good as new with no strings attached. It was embedded in the healing spell itself. Healing Chauncey's request Angela shrugged and then got to his side immediately, lowering her self to his level by squatting. "What's up?" She asked
